Village Car Wash is a self-service car wash in Los Angeles, California. It is listed at 12415 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90066, which places it among the local businesses of Los Angeles that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
In Los Angeles, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across California, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is Open 24 hours. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (310) 810-4071. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is village-car-wash.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Its Google rating is 3.8 out of 5 from 403 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Traffic in Los Angeles peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

With the price increase $3 you'd think they'd FIX THE MANHOLES in their parking lot and alley! Might damage your tires leaving there. REPLY to Owner: As your customer for 20 years, YES it is a business' job to maintain safe premises. There are manholes on your parking lot and the alley. You should fix your damaged parking area yourself. The city won't fix the alley unless they are contacted. If you have to invest some of your profits, do it for your paying customers, so we don't damage our tires.

Gonna call it a "car rinse" rather than a car wash. Both times I've been here, the high-pressure soap spray had to be either empty or so watered-down that there was no discernable soap being sprayed at all β absolutely no bubbles, just looks and smells like water. I don't like using the foaming brush because you can scratch your paint that way β definitely prefer a high-pressure wash sprayer. Wax was also empty last time. Pre-wash was also 90% empty β just sputtered out in tiny drips and drabs. Card reader was acting up too so I had to dig out some cash last-minute. I really want this place to be nicer, especially because I live so close by, but paying $15 to wash my car with mostly water is not it.

Absolutely do not choose this place. Even though I selected the 5-minute, $5 option, $15 was still deducted from my card. This is fraud. This is the second time this has happened. Luckily, I have photo and video evidence. I want you to know that I will be filing a lawsuit for fraud as soon as possible. This happens every time, and it's a scam. I will initiate legal proceedingsβ¦

I have been here once before and it worked fine. But this time the soap ran out and foaming brush doesnβt produce any soap. And for pre soak and high pressure soap the same. Also, there was an associate there cleaning the trash. I asked him for some help. He said he doesnβt work there and got in his car and drove off. Cant be verify he was an associate. Probably just dumping trash.

This place ONLY takes cards now. No coins. I was there today with no attendant available. Swiped my card once $5 for 5 minutes no problem. I was running out of time, so I swiped again for another five minutes, but checked my bank statements immediately and found I was charged $15 on the second swipe which only gave me 5 minutes. Total scam. Check your bank balances folks.
